Come along to the world’s biggest celebration of Western Australians wildflowers. There will be free guided walks, outdoor exhibitions, acoustic musicians, roving performers, science talks and much more so there really is something for everyone. Iconic WA species will be on display including kangaroo paws, waxes, Qualup bells and carpets of pink everlastings.
NATIVE PLANT SALE
14 and 15 September | Exhibition Ground, Kings Park | Saturday 9am to 4pm, Sunday 9am to 2pm
Come along to the largest Friends of Kings Park Native Plant Sale of the year, held over two days during the Kings Park Festival. Choose from a huge range of healthy native plants on sale, cultivated and grown by the Friends of Kings Park, including rare species not often found in commercial nurseries. Kings Park Volunteer Master Gardeners will be on hand to provide free advice on planting and looking after your plants. Funds raised support projects in Kings Park and Botanic Garden.
