The Chevron City to Surf for Activ will have a fun, family-friendly focus in 2024. You can sign-up for either the 4km or 12km walk, run or roll with both options suitable for people of all ages and abilities.
Due to safety regulations, the use of rollerblades, bikes and scooters is not permitted in the Chevron City to Surf for Activ.
As much as we love furry friends, you will not be able to bring your pet along to the event. Dogs are also strictly prohibited at City Beach Oval from Friday 23 August to Monday 26 August inclusive, and infringements may apply. Note that assistance dogs are permitted.
The 4km course starts from McLean Park in Floreat, and the 12km course will begin on St Georges Terrace in the Perth CBD. Both courses finish on City Beach Oval, which will be transformed into a family-friendly precinct with activities, entertainment and much, much more!
Of course! We encourage you to come along and cheer on our amazing walkers, runners and rollers on-route and also at the finish line. The finish line will be transformed into a family-friendly precinct, so join us on the day to enjoy activities, entertainment and more. You can also help out on the day by volunteering.
As the largest annual fundraiser for Activ Foundation, the Chevron City to Surf for Activ will help raise vital funds to support the thousands of Western Australian’s living with disability.
Please don’t hesitate to contact the Chevron City to Surf for Activ Team with any event enquiries. We’re always happy to help! You can call (08) 9387 0487 or email hello@perthcitytosurf.com.au
We encourage people to get crazy and creative and come in just about anything. Or you can wear your favourite running gear. Make sure your walking/running shoes fit well (and you’ve worn them before to make sure they are comfy). And bring a hat and sunscreen to slip, slop, slap.
We’re very pleased to confirm that all 4km and 12km participants will receive a medal when they cross the finish line on City Beach Oval.
We encourage participants to take public transport as it’s the quickest and easiest way of getting to the event. If you do want to drive though, head here for more info. Please be aware that there will be road closures in and around the CBD on event day.
