Getting There on Event Day

Your registration for the Chevron City to Surf for genU includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours before, during and three hours after the event. Simply wear your event bib and jump on board! Volunteers also travel for free with their volunteer t-shirt!

PARKING

Please note that there is no parking or drop off/pick up zone at the finish line at City Beach Oval. Parking restrictions within the Town of Cambridge will be in place from 8:00am Saturday 29 August until 4:00pm Sunday 30 August.

Parking for the 4km start at McLean Park is available at Floreat Forum for a gold coin donation.

Getting To The Event

TRAINS

There will be train services operating on the day to get you to the event start in the CBD. Train services for the day can be found here.

Yanchep Line Inbound – 15-minute frequency departing Yanchep between 5:43am and 6:28am, then 7/8-minute frequency between 6:28am and 7:28am.

Mandurah Line Inbound – 15-minute frequency departing Mandurah between 5:40am and 6:25am, then 7/8-minute frequency between 6:25am and 7:25am.

Midland Line Inbound – 15-minute frequency departing Midland from 6:19am.

Ellenbrook Line Inbound – 15-minute frequency departing Ellenbrook from 6:19am.

Airport Line from High Wycombe – 15-minute frequency departing High Wycombe from 6:18am.

Airport Line from Claremont – 15-minute frequency departing Claremont from 6:29am.

Fremantle Line Inbound – 15-minute frequency departing Fremantle from 6:09am.

Armadale from Byford – 15-minute frequency departing Byford from 5:53am.

Thornlie – Cockburn Line – 15-minute frequency departing Cockburn Central from 6:10am.

Participants and spectators are strongly encouraged to use the event shuttle buses.

Bus Ingress departing Perth Busport

A shuttle bus service will operate every 10 minutes from Perth Busport (Stand 6) to McLean Park, Floreat from 6.35am until 8.25am for 4km participants. This service is express and will only stop at Perth Busport and McLean Park, Floreat.

Shuttle bus services will also travel to City Beach Oval departing every 10 minutes from Perth Busport (Stand 6) from 8.30am until 11.00am for those wishing to travel to the finish line. This service is express and will only stop at Perth Busport and City Beach Oval.

Bus Egress departing City Beach

Shuttle bus services will operate from City Beach Oval to McLean Park, Floreat and Perth Busport from 8.00am to 8.30am, departing every 5 minutes. This limited-stop service will stop at McLean Park, Floreat and Perth Busport.

From 8.30am until 1.00pm, express shuttle bus services will depart every 5–10 minutes (as required) from City Beach Oval to McLean Park, Floreat. This service is express and will only stop at City Beach Oval and McLean Park, Floreat.

Express shuttle bus services will also operate from City Beach Oval to Perth Busport from 8.30am until 1.00pm, departing every 5–10 minutes (as required). This service is express and will only stop at City Beach Oval and Perth Busport.

Please note: Shuttle bus services only operate from Perth Busport (Stand 6).
